The Mission of AJCOP
AJCOP is the professional association for the advancement of standards of community organization practice affiliated with the Jewish Communal Service Association.
AJCOP welcomes all professionally trained or experienced individuals engaged in community organization work within and on behalf of the Jewish Community. Individuals who are employed by local, regional, national and overseas Jewish community organizations, agencies and institutions, as well as academicians engaged in the field, Jewish students preparing to enter the field and retired professionals are eligible for membership in AJCOP.
We are dedicated to the development, enhancement and strengthening of the professional practice of Jewish community service. We seek to improve standards, practices, scope and public understanding of the professional practice of Jewish community organization. We recognize the importance of supporting these efforts toward creative Jewish survival.
